THE HEALING STATION
The conductors of the Healing Station, NY are committed to building communities that are actively participating in learning and cultivating their own mental, emotional and physical health.
We believe that all communities have the capacity to be self-sufficient and sustainable when access is made equal.
We are a project based 501 c3 organization that is closing the wellness gap by educating, training, and creating spaces to listen to formerly muffled voices.
The Healing Station got it's name from our founder Syntyché Francella; owner of the first Black owned Yoga studio, in southeast Queens, New York. Each and every time a class, workshop or healing circle ended, it was clear and vocalized by all, that it was a place where people came to heal. After her yoga studio officially closed as a result of COVID-19, Syntyché realized more than anything else, she wanted to do the work. Brick or mortar or not! That clarity of vision gave birth to the Healing Station, NY.
Next stop - whole body wellness.
